Almost three weeks, one spindle filled. Oh, and a little more spinning done.
A very, very small victory -- and I will say, I miss being able to do what I've done in a couple of other tours, spin enough for a whole project (did that twice, spun enough to make two shawls, immense sense of accomplishment).
But by taking it slowly like this, I've still made a teensy-weensy bit of progress, and I think by the fall, I'll be back spinning regularly again. Had I gone crazy and taken on a big spinning project now, that wouldn't be the case.
The hardest thing? I've just finished taking a tour around some of the participants' blogs. Some lovely spinning, and some lovely fibres that just made me drool.

I finished 2.5 skeins. I wanted to spin dark green wool with mohair, but gave up on it. Instead I finished up some lime/turquoise experimentation. Then I knitted up the dark green and it was beautiful if I do say so myself. I will try to figure out how to upload pix. Now to make more of this green stuff. I'm doing some tea dyeing to go with the regular dyed wool. I may not finish all the green, but I'll get more done. Thanks for getting me going.

Take care and go slow. You want to be able to recouperate. This is the most I've even produced on my new wheel. I'm really getting a feel for it and am able to spin finer. I'm excited, thanks for the motivation.
