I'm finally plying the fibre spun last week -- back in a bit (with photos) when I've got some done!
(And how is your Tour going?)

I was also waylaid a bit by the heat and humidity. In fact, I titled my blog post, one day, "My Chain Fell Off!". I'm back on track now and have finished up all the red roving that I had and am ready to start spinning for my all-Shetland "Modern Quilt Wrap"! Yippee!!!

My tour is going fantastically well! I did not stick to my original fibers chosen but have spun more than my original goal and am having a blast doing it!

I finished my goal long ago. I ended up having a lot more time to spin than I thought I would. It's been fun rummaging through the stash and finding something new to spin. I even managed to clean out my wool room and found things that I forgot even existed. Right now I'm having terrible urges to dye but the heat and humidity are making it hard because all I want to do is take a nap and wake up when this awful weather goes away.

I finished my Tour yesterday, but have now become obsessed - must spin more! And like Spunsilver, I'm finding stashed fiber that I don't even remember buying.

I am about 5 ounces of singles, plus plying away from my goal. It's not a sure thing that I will make it. Very ill; maybe will be hospitalized. But am trying to get a minimum of one ounce per day done, and would like to get two tomorrow.
If they take me, they have to take my wheel too - lol
