Well, not quite yet, but soon....
I've been watching the Giro d'Italia (which, surprisingly, I often find more interesting to watch than the Tour de France), and spinning and knitting on a project I can't say to much about at the moment, and planning for July.
This year's spinning challenge will run, like the Tour, from July 5th to July 27th -- but this year, there'll be a twist: all spinning has to be done with fibre from your stash!
Yeah, I know, but I was going through my own stash in the last while, and decided that some stash-busting was in order, hence, the stash challenge.
More details to come once I've finished with the Giro, but if you'd like to spin from the stash along with me this July, then feel free to add yourself in the comments or by sending me an email!

That'll make six of us now (got another response privately).
I had to work from the stash -- I suddenly realized that without quite knowing how, I had a spinning stash as well as a knitting one, and I think I'm going to spend the summer working through it...

I'd like to join in on the fun! I learned to spin this year, and will finally have enough time this summer to really spend some time spinning. Does carding raw fleece count for the Tour de Fleece, too? I will be getting a drum carder soon, and I will want to process loads of raw fleece to spin...can't wait!
Thanks!

Hi, Amanda,
Yes, essentially (as in past years) you'll set your own goal. This year I've added a stash component, but if you have a goal that doesn't involve stash (whatever your goal is), that'll be fine, too.
I'll be putting up the details very shortly -- it's been a busy week, but life gets back to normal next week!

I'll be in for a stash spinning! Thanks for putting it together again.

Sign me up! I did really well the first year but crashed and burned in 2007, so I hope to do much better in '08. I definitely have the stash to work with.
W00T!
